Roc City Sailing is committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. We embrace and encourage our employees’, volunteers’, and students’ differences in age, race, disability, ethnicity, family or marital status, gender identity or expression, language, national origin, physical and mental ability, political affiliation, religion, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, veteran status, and other characteristics that make our employees, volunteers and students unique.
One of Roc City Sailing’s goals is to actively recruit students, employees and volunteers from communities that have not traditionally been involved in sailing. We maintain an ongoing relationship with the city of Rochester, NY to involve city residents (and, in particular, middle and high school students) with the goal of increasing the diversity of the sailing community.
